This photo was taken during a 2 day visit to Chicago in October 2006. It was taken from a break-wall just outside the Adler Planetarium.
As luck would have it, not only did the one night I had to complete this
shoot turn out to be a beautiful night, it was also a full moon which
allowed for a slightly shorter exposure than in previous night panoramas
I've done.
October was Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and a number of buildings were lit in Pink as a result, not to mention one with a very large "Think Pink" sign on it's roof.
